______Sakura is a Konoichi(female ninja) and is the only konoichi in her group(team 7). Everyone knows Sakura for calling Naruto a baka(idiot in japanese) and sucking up to Sasuke! Every girl likes Sasuke, including Sakura. Not only is she fighting to win Sasuke, but she's also fighting to become a great ninja!

______One of the biggest rivalries Sakura has is with Ino. Ino was the one who rose Sakura's self esteem. If you look at Sakura's picture, you can see that she has a very wide forehead- and Ino was the one who told her to forget about all the kids who made fun of her forehead. That's when Sakura and Ino became best of friends. Their friendship lasted a decently long time, until Sakura found out the Ino had a crush on Sasuke as well. Eventually Sakura and Ino started seeing less and less of each other and broke up as friends. Sakura also felt bad, thinking that she needed Ino to raise her courage. Ever since then, they had been rivals.

______At age 12, when Sakura, Ino, Sasuke, Naruto, and many other ninja were taking the exam to become chunnin, they all passed the first part. According to the rules, there were too many people who passed, and all the ninja would have to be taken into a sudden death battle. After a couple of battles had already passed, it turned out that Sakura and Ino were going to have to fight against each other.

______In this battle, there were many flashbacks, good and bad. Not only that, both Ino and Sakura had learned many new techniques. They both battled a very very long time, and it was probably the closest match ever- exact fist punches, amazing kicks, everything was equal! After about 10 minutes of physical fighting, Ino had decided to use her new technique, the Mind Transfer Jutsu. In this jutsu, the user can take his or her mind and soul into their opponents, and control their opponents movements. When Ino had aimed properly, and had gone into Sakura's mind, Naruto screamed for Sakura to not give up- and she didn't.

______Sakura used all the power she had to kick Ino out of her mind, which is almost impossible to do. Sakura had finally gained the courage to fight Ino to the ground, even though Ino used to be her best friend. About another 5-7 minutes later, the last punch was thrown- and both konoichi were on the ground- it was a tie.

______This expierience taught Sakura a lot of things. Even though she had not won, nor lost, Sakura had tried her best. She learned that she needed to train much harder if she were going to defeat Ino, and get Sasuke. Later on in life however, instead of becoming an amazing ninja, her chakra control was better than ever. She was always good with Chakra control, and she could tell it got better over the years. Sakura now had another option for herself- to become a medical ninja. She could not only control her chakra, but she could control her self esteem to be at the highest level.

______Later on however, Sakura gained more and more physical strength... soon her strength was unbelivable- now add that to her amazing Chakra control, and just see what you can get. Jiraya calls Sakura a mini version of Tsunade... :P
